Nathan West Jr., 77, of Marshall, NC, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Nathan was born on December 7th, 1948 in Madison County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan West and Willie "Bill" Meadows West of Madison County. He is survived by his son, Stacy West of Atlanta, GA.

Nathan was the owner of West C.B. since 1975 and Nathan's Wash/Wax. He loved car cruise-ins, car shows, and loved going to Pigeon Forge, TN for the Rod Runs where he made several friends. He loved "Hot Rods" and pretty old cars. Nathan was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, the Atlanta Braves, and was a big Nascar fan! His favorite drivers through the years were David Pearson and Bill Elliot. He also loved the North Carolina Tart Heels.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Pastors Kevin Boone and Dusty Black officiating. Interment will follow in the Flats of Spring Creek Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 30th at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church in Marshall: 53 South Main St., Marshall, NC 28753 or online at FBCMarshall.com.
