Nathan A. Wright, age 19, of New Franklin OH, lost his life in a tragic accident on Friday July 12, 2024.

He was born in Akron, OH, on March 13, 2005, the son of Brittany and Jeremy Wright.

Nathan was a former wrestler and graduate from Manchester High School and Portage Lakes Career Center, where he specialized in the auto-mechanic field. He was part of the Teamsters Local 348 and working at SRM Concrete of Akron, where he was a mechanic.

Natedogg, as many would call him, was a special young man who made an impact on every person he met and was always up to making new friends. He was known for his generosity, kindness, goofiness, and his laughter and a smile that would light up any room. Nathan enjoyed spending his time tearing things apart to rebuild them or to make something new, riding dirt bikes and ATV’s, and making people laugh.

Nathan was loved by many and will be deeply missed by every person who has had the opportunity to be in his life.

Nathan is survived by his loving parents, Brittany and Jeremy Wright; sister Natalie; grandparents Ronnie and Laura Lawson, Mary Ann Sabolek and David, Dale and Sandy Wright; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Nathan is preceded in death by his grandfather William Swan, great grandparents Jack Wright, Sue and Al Schumann, Benny and Shirley Lawson.

Services will be held at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home in Akron, OH (547 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312) on Friday July 19, 2024. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following.
