Obituary
Wayne Allen Harrison, age 74, of Navarre, stepped into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 29, 2023. Wayne was born on March 22, 1949, the son of Allen and Alice Harrison. He grew up on a dairy farm in Brighton, Ohio and graduated from Wellington High School in 1967. After attending Akron University, he went to work as a carpenter/contractor. In 1982, he began working as a Building Trades instructor at Jackson High School. In 2001, he and his wife, Peggy, sold their farm and moved to WV, where they served Jesus at Faith Mountain Ministries. In 2005, they moved back to Ohio. Wayne was then employed as a Building Trades instructor at Portage Lakes Career Center.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy (Falen) Harrison; son Seth (wife Betsy) Harrison; grandchildren Melody and Allen Harrison; and brothers Lad, Brian (wife Joyce) and Rodney (wife Beth) Harrison.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, at The North Canton Chapel, 715 Whittier Ave. NW, North Canton. Calling hours will begin at 1:30 PM with service immediately following at 3 PM. There will be a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The North Canton Chapel.

Wayne has a heart of gold; he will fit right in walking the streets of gold in Heaven. He and Peggy showed us an example of beautiful lifelong marriage. It is hard to say more because I just now
heard of his homegoing.
