On Friday, October 31, 2025, at HCA Lawnwood Hospital, Nathaniel heard the voice of God calling and went home to his mansion prepared by God. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Newton; daughter, Natayji Newton; brothers, Arthur Newton, Jr. and Dravious Cory Newton; grandmother, Kathleen Wright Plain; grandfather, Nathaniel Plain, Sr.
Those left to mourn his passing are his wife: Tameka Willis Newton; father: Arthur Ray Newton; daughter: Mary Newton; son: Nathaniel Newton, Jr.; stepson: Andre Bailey, Jr.; stepdaughter: Shaquicia Birks; special daughter: Willicia Adams; sister: Nyree (Patrick) Noble; best friends: Gary Jackson and Kenny Adams; godbrother/sister: Wayne Ingram and Velma Ingram; goddaughter: Khadejah Jackson; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends will miss him dearly.
