Nazario C. Escochea, 82, passed away on August 7, 2025, in Balch Springs, Texas. Born on January 24, 1943, in Weslaco, Texas, he lived a life marked by dedication to his family and service to his country.
Nazario was the beloved son of Nazario A. Escochea and Dolores Escochea. He proudly served in the United States Army, exemplifying a deep sense of duty and patriotism that remained with him throughout his life. Known as a hardworking family man, Nazario devoted himself to providing for and supporting those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Blanca Dalia Escochea. Together they built a strong and loving family that continues to honor their legacy.
Nazario is survived by his children: daughters Ida Escochea, Rebecca Escochea, and Delma Williams with her husband Jeff Williams; sons Eduardo Escochea with his wife Heather Escochea, and Ricardo Escochea with his wife Cristie Escochea.
He was a proud grandfather to Linda, Amber, Bobby, Jeffrey, Jessica, Jennifer, Caroline, Daniel, Emily, Laurel, Alexander, Kaylee, Makayla, and Alyssa. His legacy also lives on through his great-grandchildren: Jackson, Taylor, Brooklyn, Kennedy, Harrison, Austin, Bryson, Asher, Elizabeth, Richard, Jeremiah, Madison, Makenzie, Kaeden, Naiah, Nadia, Benjamin and Nelson.
Nazario is also survived by his sister Hilda and her husband Armando Salinas.
His life was one of quiet strengths and unwavering commitment to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
