Nehemiah Isaiah White, age 5, of Elgin IL, passed away on October 18, 2024. He was born April 30, 2019 in Oak Lawn, IL to his loving parents, Ryan White and Maria Carlisle.
Nehemiah was a very goofy, happy little boy. He always had a smile on his face. He was very good at communicating without words.
Nehemiah loved spending time with his granny Kim. He enjoyed his pacifier, and being on his iPad to read his books and work his puzzles. He liked bath time, but did not like nap time. He was the biggest Mickey Mouse fan. He loved listening to his music box and to his mommy singing to him. A favorite memory was of watching him rolling around and learning to walk.
No matter the circumstances, Nehemiah always remained happy, his smile lighting up the room.
Nehemiah was preceded in death by his sister, Aniya Kimberly Faith White; and great-grandparents, Lavert Ware Sr., Frank and Laverne White, Emerick Maria Nesbitt, and Maria Gomez.
He is survived by his parents, Maria Letisya Carlisle and Ryan Christopher White; siblings, Brianna Raquel White and Jarrett Curtis; grandparents, Michelle Kimberly Ware-White and Alfrado White, Hope Gomez, and Dexter Carlisle Sr.; aunts and uncles, Arianna (Carlos Islas) Carlisle, and Dexter (Veronica Gallardo) Carlisle Jr.; and cousins, Savannah Gallardo Carlisle, Emery Gallardo Carlisle, Zaylani Gallardo Carlisle, Ethan Hayes, and Elijah Hayes.
Visitation will be 10:30am until funeral service at 12:30pm, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
