Neil W. Hesselbart

Neil W. Hesselbart 63, of Northwood, OH passed away at home on Monday, April 28, 2025. Neil was born on September 22, 1961 in Oregon, OH to Wilbur Frank and Marilyn Ruth (Clarke) Hesselbart. He later became a graduate of Woodmore High School.
Neil, currently worked in housekeeping at Otterbein Portage Valley in Pemberville, where he had been for 40 plus years. His memberships included the Toledo Museum of Art, and the Toledo Zoo. He always looked forward to attending both venues with his dear friends. His greatest joy in life was spending time, and going out with his close friends.
Neil is survived by friend; James E. Thompson of Northwood, brothers: Kevin F. Hesselbart of Oak Harbor, Wid (Rev. Judith Frank) Hesselbart of Woodville, nephews: Justin Hesselbart, and Grant (Ashley) Hesselbart. Neil was preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-law; Kathy Hesselbart.
Neil will be laid to rest at a Graveside Service 11 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2025 in Westwood Cemetery, Woodville, OH. Officiating will be Rev. Dee Baker. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Woodville United Methodist church, or a charity of the donor's choice.
