Neil G. Williams, 69, unfortunately, his life ended on September 11th, 2025, having passed away suddenly, at the family cottage, in Brown County, In. He was born on June 5th, 1955, in Muncie, In., to Rev. Philip and Mildred Williams.

Neil married Dani (Davenport), in 1981, and they built a home in the country, near Upland, In., where they raised four children. Neil thrived on being self-employed: he was a building contractor, local restaurant owner, and a landlord. He worked, for three years, at the Small Business Development Center and valued teaching others about entrepreneurship. He graduated from Taylor University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater, where he wrote/produced a short musical, acted in several plays, and designed/built stage sets. During his senior year, Neil was co-editor of The Echo, the college paper that was published weekly. His unfulfilled dream was to have one of his writings (short story, novel, screenplay) published.

He loved the Lord and wanted his actions to compliment his faith. He volunteered on several week-long work projects, displayed much patience with those who could not pay for services he had provided, and tried to treat others, in daily life, the way he would want to be treated.

Neil and Dani moved to Brown County, in 2019. He renovated their cottage and grounds, helped his neighbors with building projects, and made certain his kids and grandkids had great experiences on the lake.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dani (Davenport) Williams. His children and their families were so important to him; he loved them, and they are as follows: Luke and Lyn; Levi and Alexis with grandkids: London, Ellis, Lilia and Everett; Lauren and Brad, with granddaughter, Bradley Grey; and Lindsay, with granddaughter, Emery Beau. His brother, David, and sister, Carol, as well as many nieces and nephews, were often in his thoughts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; oldest brother, Mike; and infant son, Beau Austin.

A private family gathering was held, at the family farm, on September 20th, 2025, to remember Neil and support each other. You were a good, good, man, and we all miss you very much!
