Nettie Mae Bosworth

March 10, 1968 ~ September 13, 2025

Nettie Mae Bosworth, 57, of Marion, passed away at 9:48 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Logansport, Indiana, on Sunday, March 10, 1968, to Herschel and Mary (Dishner) Williams. On December 7, 1987, she married Dale E. Bosworth.

Nettie graduated from Mississinewa High School. She had worked at RCA, Tote-A-Burger, Southside Diner and Denson True Value. She was most recently a CNA at Wesleyan Healthcare. She was a member of Eastview Wesleyan Church. Nettie was an officer in the auxiliary of the Jonesboro American Legion Post 95. She enjoyed dancing and singing. She loved to crochet, read, and was an avid swimmer in her younger years. Nettie had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh that will be missed dearly.

In addition to her loving husband, Dale E. Bosworth of Marion, Nettie is survived by her daughter, Lena (Tyler) Williams of Marion; son, Dale "Buddy" (Kendra) Bosworth, Jr. of Marion; daughter, Amanda (Johnson) Brewer of Gas City; grandchildren, Gracie Mae Hogan, Marie Louise Hogan, Franklin Thomas Hogan, Kylynn Slusher, Carson Brewer, Logan Nabors, John Henry Nabors, and Bishop S. Brewer; sister-in-law, Leslie Disher; plus, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herschel Williams; mother, Mary (Dishner) Williams; sisters, Dollena (Richard) Buckley and Karen Dishner; and brother, Larry Dishner.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Services, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN, 46933.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Nettie's life will begin at 1 pm with Pastor Mark Atkinson officiating. Committal services will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Gas City.
