Nicholas J Ciavarella Jr,, 63, beloved son, grandson, and brother, was called to his eternal rest on July 23, 2024. He entered this world on June 12, 1961 at Akron, OH, born to the late Nicholas and Gloria Ciavarella (nee Cortesi) and a cousin and friend to so many.
Nick attended Holy Family School at Stow where he was a long time member. He graduated from Walsh Jesuit High in 1979 and the University of Akron in 1983,
Nick was a beloved CYO Holy Family basketball coach for both boys and girls for nearly 40 years. He also coached girls basketball at Walsh Jesuit High School. Nick's love of life included traveling and visiting with friends. He loved history and exploring the Lake Erie lighthouses.
He is survived by his his Sister Nikkimarie Ciavarella and his brother TJ (Megan) Ciavarella.
Contributions in Memory of Nick should be made to Holy Family Parish. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Family Catholic Church at Stow OH Friday, July 26 at 11:00 am. Nick will be buried with a private service, in Holy Cross Cemetery following Mass, There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, Stow, OH.
