Hey buddy, today marks 2 years since you left us. On the one hand it seems like forever I, on the other just like yesterday. Even though you're not here physically, you're always here, always present, always in my heart, always. I miss you, I love you, I wish I could hug you.

Hey buddy. So, I'm in need of your pull from upstairs. I've had some health issues recently. Bronchitis, probably because I'm stupid to have smoked for so long. It could have just been a result of a flu bug, but wasn't receptive to standard treatment. So, having CT on Monday and need your prayers. Truly afraid of what I may have done to myself. I pray constantly for God to bless me with the ability to exercise the free will He graced me with to concur this demon, and I can only hope I haven't screwed myself. I understand that you were faced with a disease you had no control over, and here I am ... Pray for me my friend. Not just to be okay, but for the strength to accept if I am not, and/or to remove this demon from my world. I love you and know you have my back! You're the best! BTW, I don't remember if I told you directly what a beautiful eulogy Spud gave, and how proud you would have been for your dad, but ... You obviously know that also, looking down. Love you buddy.

Hey buddy, two months today. Still expect to walk around the corner and see you at your desk. But you're not there. I touch the Superman poem I wrote and then I feel you and know you are still there, here. Always in my heart and soul. I love you honey. Danette

Hey buddy, tomorrow is one month since you went home. I'm sorry I didn't know what you were going through before leaving or I would have been there to give you what for. You've left a hole in my heart I could never have imagined. I so treasure our friendship and all you meant to me. I only hope you truly knew how special you were to me and to so many. Your face is engraved in my mind and your spirit will always be fresh in memory. What a beautiful friend, what a beautiful soul. I love you and miss you more than words can say. God speed my friend, God keep you close. Danette

My time knowing Nicholas was early in his life when a group of us, Linda'so classmates, worked on planning our class reunions. We often met at Linda and Glenn's in Clinton. Our friendships grew from there.
Nicholas was the most beautiful baby and child. The sweetest smile and gorgeous long eye lashes us ladies would pay to have. He was the image of Glenn so much so that I asked Linda if she had anything to do with his birth.
My heart aches for the family as they cope with this loss. Heaven got a honey Tuesday.
