Nicholas DeBenedittis

Nick passed away peacefully in Highland Hospital, Oakland, CA, on December 7, 2024, with his loving wife, Mary Anne, beside him, holding his hand. He was 74. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Nick was the son of the late Frank and Mary DeBenedittis. He graduated from Hofstra University Law School with a JD degree in 1986 and practiced law until his retirement, after which he and his wife moved to Alameda, CA. Nick was a musician, playing the drums in a rock band in his younger years, a writer of short stories, and loved to travel, getting to know the people he met along the way. He was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
