Obituary of Nicholas J. Feser
Nicholas J Feser was born November 4, 1980 in Arizona to Delmar and Mary (Fran) Feser (née Kemmer) and tragically passed away on March 5, 2025 in Minneapolis, MN. Nick, as we called him, entered our lives when he accepted the love and family of his life partner, Aaron Jackson, after meeting in 2011. Still in their 20s, Nick and Aaron lived in Minneapolis for a short time where Nick worked at Panera Bread. They then made a home together in Little Falls, where they welcomed a beautiful little dachshund puppy named Millie, and Nick was a frequent guest and volunteer at the Great River Arts Center. Nick found professional success as a manager in both the restaurant and call center businesses, but he found his vocation and passion during Covid when he started working as a caretaker for young adults with autism, where he loved to help, joke with, and dote on his clients. Nick spent over 13 years in our big crazy family, and lived for the chaos, and drama. His bright, unique laugh was easy to pick out of the crowd and his wide sense of humor made him laugh often. Nick loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, and the children of close friends, and they with him. His desire to never grow up made him a perfect playmate, and his love of cartoons and superheroes gave them lots of entertainment. Nick was usually up for an adventure - anything to get him out of the house and living life. He was always up for a movie, and loved to play games, but however it was spent, family time was his favorite. He found peace and joy in the small moments. To know Nick was to love Nick, and we will miss him dearly.
Nick is survived by his life partner, Aaron, and his dogter, Millie (6), his brother, Joseph Feser; his in-laws, Neree Jackson, Rick (Sue) Jackson, and Myra Frazier; siblings in-law, Shawny (Deon), Isaac, Braden, and Eliana; his beloved niece and nephews, Elijah, Winter, and DJ; special relatives Cora and Alexa; and many, many extended family members who were always so happy to see him. He is also survived by numerous members of his biological family who expressed concern and care during his brief time in the hospital. Nick is preceded in death by his mother, may he now be cradled in her arms; and his sister-in-law Rachel.
Please join the family for a celebration of life on Saturday May 17th, 2025, 1pm.
There will be a short program at 1:30 followed by a family dinner. Please bring stories, photos or other memories or mementos to share, if you have them.
Stay for games, if you'd like.
