Of Voorhees, NJ, passed away suddenly on December 19, 2023. He was 35 years old. Beloved husband of Ashley (nee Knopple). Devoted father of Skylar and Danny. Loving son of Deborah (nee Begich) Goetz and the late Daniel F. Goetz, Jr. and grandson of Marlene Goetz. He is also survived by his mother in law Hayley Knopple, his father in law Tommy Knopple (Jennifer), his sister in law Erin Knopple and his many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Nicholas grew up in Marlton and graduated from Cherokee High School in 2006, where he was a star second baseman and MVP. He continued with baseball while he earned his bachelor's degree from Gwynedd Mercy University. Nicholas worked for Global Furniture Group. He loved spending time with his family and hanging out with his many "best friends". He was a Phillies and Cowboys fan, loved to golf and enjoyed working out. Family and friends are invited to his visitation 9:45-11:30am and his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am on Thursday, December 28, all at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to gofundme to benefit his children. www.gofundme.com

I was a coworker of Nick at Global. He was one of the young men that stood out as being smart, funny, respectful and always hungry for knowledge. I will miss him very much.

One of my fondest moments with Nick was the day he came in to our office and introduced me to Ashley. As Ashley walked away, I had said to Nick, you are one lucky young man and he turned to me and said I'm gonna marry her someday. He was a good husband, father, son and great friend to so many. He will be sadly missed. However, I know he is now resting in peace with his favorite person in the whole wide world, his dad. May you rest in peace my dear sweet friend. Thank you for being a special part of my life. Until we meet again, rest easy. Love you!

I remember Nick playing on Marlton Rec Council teams with my son, Andrew, when they were children. I remember the Goetz family fondly and enjoyed cheering them on with his mother. I´m very sorry to hear of his passing.
