Nicholas J Karels, age 71 of North Port, FL, formerly of Chicago. Nicholas was a proud owner of a Hollow Metal Door Company and a Locksmith.
Music was his passion. He was known as an Elvis "impersonator". Nick "Elvis" Karels has sung to thousands over the years and many times his voice has been indistinguishable from the King, even to his own family.
Nicholas has left us all with so many wonderful memories.
"Sweet Memories are the Paradise of the Mind."
Preceded in death by father, Nicholas Joseph Karels, mother, Florence Karels, and brother Raymond Bailey.
Beloved husband of Sharon Karels, loving father of Nicholas (Dawn), Jeffery (Melanie), Renee', Yvette (Eric), and Grandfather of Jaheira.
He was truly loved by all his family and friends, will be remembered by so many and continuously showed us his strength, love and courage throughout his battle with cancer.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
