Nicholas John Larkin

Nicholas John Larkin, 32, passed away Saturday, March 23, at Salem Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Born in Boston, he was the son of Lauren Ferrari and Michael Larkin.
Nick was a passionate Boston sports fan, rooting for his beloved Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox, and BC Eagles. He literally wore his passion, as he was always dressed in something with one of their logos.
Nick was an old soul at heart; warm, compassionate, and sentimental. He had a smile that would light up a room and a sense of humor that would fill the room with laughter.
Nick courageously lived with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy over his lifetime. As difficult as that was, he seemed to always bring out the goodness in others. He has countless memories of people going out of their way to do something kind to help him in any way, no matter how small.
Nick was a lifetime resident of Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School class of 2010. He had a core group of friends Kevin McManus, Ben Pasquariello, Matt Arias, Jason Carucci, Corey Walker, Tom Hurley, and Tom Dion that were a constant presence in his life – from Xbox to Fantasy Sports to just hanging with Nick at his house.
Nicholas is survived by his father, Michael Larkin and his wife Cindy of Danvers; mother, Lauren Ferrari and her husband Mike King of Danvers; sisters, Alexandra Larkin and her fiancé Ian Blanke, Christina Bagley and her husband Ryan and Alyssa Taubert; uncle of Teddy Bagley; step-sisters, Savannah King and Dillon King; nephew of Melissa Kashgagian; cousins, Kyle and Kloe Kashgagian; grandmother, Ida Corelli; uncle, Aldo Corelli, Jr. and his wife Kimberly; cousins, Cody and Skyler Corelli; grandmother, Ilse Ferrari. He will be missed by his longtime and devoted Personal Care Attendant Nicholas Mancuso and his wife Colleen. He was predeceased by grandparents, Nancy and Paul Ferrari and Aldo Corelli and his service dog Mookie.
Funeral services for Nicholas will be at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, on Tuesday, April 2, at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Monday, April 1, from 4:00-7:00pm.
