Nicholas “Nick” George Leyva, age 31, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family, November 15, 2025. Nick graduated in 2012 from Steele High School, attended Dallas Baptist University, Texas A&M College Station and Texas A&M San Antonio, where he received his B.A. in English. Nick volunteered throughout his life to Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Breakaway Ministries, Beach Reach and summer-interned at Northeast Bible Church in 2014. Nick focused his life on making sure that all he met knew Jesus and the Bible, including local coffee shop and restaurant trips to discuss grace and salvation. Nick loved music, reading and to truly share the Gospel to all. Family and friends will miss Nick’s kind and humble generosity, but more importantly his smile, laugh, words and his heartfelt love. Nick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and two uncles, and is survived by his parents, John and Rita Leyva; sister and brother-in-law, Natalie and Ronald Jackson, Jr., and precious niece, Gianna. A Celebration of Life for Nick will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Northeast Bible Church, 19185 FM 2252, Garden Ridge, Texas 78266. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Nick, please donate directly to Northeast Bible Church at www.nebc.ch.
