Nicholas F. O’Riordan, age 61 of Stoneham, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday September 10 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Cork Ireland on September 30, 1962 he was one of 7 children born to the late Bartholomew and Margaret (Dromey) O’Riordan.
He was a dedicated manager at SMC Pneumatics for 31 years and thrived on problem solving and mentoring younger employees. Nick enjoyed traveling back to Ireland, trips with Diane to Key West and a Sunday drive which always included a stop for a “pint" or two at an Irish Bar. But most of all his world revolved around his wife Diane and son Daniel.
He was the beloved husband of Diane (Perry) O’Riordan and the loving father of Daniel O’Riordan. Brother to Rose O’Driscoll and her husband Sean, Paul O’Riordan and his wife Kathy, Anne Caven and her husband Graeme, Owen O’Riordan and his late wife Rosarie, Helen O’Riordan and her partner William Lindsay, and Kay O’Riordan. Also survived by many cousins, nieces,nephews and loving family and friends.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday September 13 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Saturday September 14 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery., Stoneham.
