Nicholas Reilly Obituary
Abe was born September 4, 1977, in Topeka, the son of Nicholas Reilly and Mamie Florence Reilly. He attended Topeka High School, completed Carpenter's Apprenticeship Local 1445 and worked 28 years for Bob Florence Contractors.
Abe played baseball in his youth and was an avid Royals fan. He loved music and was a talented self-taught drummer. He also enjoyed art and he completed many acrylic on canvas paintings. Abe was a gentleman, polite, kind and extremely funny. He loved spending time with family and friends. Abe had a huge heart and his family meant the most to him. He will be dearly missed.
Grateful to have shared Abe's life are his children, Isaac Abraham Reilly and Kain Harper Reilly; his parents, Mamie Reilly and Nick Reilly; sisters, Grace Desch and Melissa Lewis (Tommy); the love of his life, Megan Rose and her sons, Leo and Ollie Rose; nephews and nieces, Slayde Desch, Scarlett, Violett and Walker Lewis; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Abe was preceded in death by his grandparents and an aunt.
A memorial service celebrating Abe's life will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 12, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS, with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Capper Foundation or Midland Care Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home.

Warmest condolences to the Abe Riley family. Derrick and I met Abe when they started school together at Landon Middle School. Abe always had such a warm smile on his face and was one of the most courteous of the band of boys that met and formed friendships. Occasionally I would run into Abe and he always ask about Derrick and and loved to share news about his children. I miss the days that the boys run around together, played Sports together, and just hang out together. They were a great group of boys. Hold on to the memories. They can never be taken from you and you can always call on them to help when you feel pain, sadness or you just want to smile. Memories are forever. Prayers to you all.
