Nicholas Andrew Upton

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nicholas Andrew Upton, 28, of Monroe, NC.Nic was known for his devotion to the Lord and scripture, deep conversations and laughter with family and friends, and unwavering love of his children and family. Nic will always be remembered for the way he made people feelseen, heard, and loved. Curtious, respectful, and kind to those he met, Nic had an infectious laugh, a soulful smile, a welcoming ear, and an ability to charm.Nic is survived by his beloved wife, Madisyn and daughter Ellanoire, and his two sons Derek and Alaric, step-son Grant, his mother Erin Harrower and her boyfriend Sean Miller, his father George and his wife Kim Upton, brother Lucas Upton and sister Kara Harrower, grandmothers Jane Huff and Pat Upton, and many aunts, uncles and close friends who will miss him beyond words. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Michael Campbell and David Upton.A memorial service to celebrate Nic's life will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Lee Park Church in Monroe, NC with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Energetic and bright colors are encouraged. All who knew and loved Nic are welcome to attend and share memories of a life that ended far too soon. Though his time with us was brief, Nic's impact will be missed every day and remembered with love, always.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Nic's name to Ground 40 or a charity of your choice.Online condolences may be left for the family at www.heritagecares.com
