Nicholas D. Zompa Jr.
Old Orchard Beach
Nicholas D. Zompa Jr., 39, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.
He was born in Providence, RI on December 17, 1983, son of Nicholas Zompa Sr. and Lisa Marie Magnotta. Nick was educated in the Cranston, RI school system. Growing up he had a passion for baseball, and received many awards and trophies for his skills as a pitcher and catcher.
When Nick was 16 years old, he and his family relocated to Maine. He had a charming and humorous personality which made it easy to make new friends. He was very caring and protective of his sister Natasha, and all those he considered friends.
Nick was employed as a tile flooring installer, which he had quite a skill for and was known for his quality of work. His other interests included watching Major League Baseball, working out, going to concerts, amusement parks, cooking, and listening to music. Some of his favorite artists were Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Styles P, Pop Smoke and Kane Brown. He was known for being a jokester, and always making people laugh. He was the type of guy that would liven up a party just by walking in the room. What he loved most of all was his family, especially his children, and the time they spent together. He will be sadly missed by many.
He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas Zompa Sr. and Lisa Marie Magnotta.
He is survived by his four children, Dominic Zompa, Zyrianna Zompa, Zoe Zompa, and Zariah Zompa; his sister Natasha Zompa; and his nephews, Brandon Costa, Raymon Costa, and Carmine Costa.
Visiting Hours will be from 9AM – 10AM, with a Funeral Service at 10AM on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco.
