Nick Finnell

Chauncey Nicholas Finnell, age 46, born February 4, 1979, in Rome, Georgia passed peacefully in his home August 25, 2025 in Tallapoosa, Ga. His parents are the late, Larry Wayne Finnell, and mother, Lindy Cherryl Thompson Finnell.

He is survived by his mother of Tallapoosa, Georgia; his son - Karson Blake Larry Finnell of Bowdon, Georgia; his daughter - Leah Grace Cutler Finnell of Waco, Georgia; his brothers - Jeremy Wayne Finnell of Walker, LA and Joshua Daniel Finnell of Walker, LA. He was proceeded in death by his father, Larry Wayne Finnell; grandfathers, Emmett Carl Thompson and Clemson Finnell; and grandmother, Virginia Finnell, all of Tallapoosa, Georgia.

Nick was a kind and loving soul. He loved his children with all his heart and soul. They were indeed his everything. His brothers were his best friends. He was definitely a mamas boy as well. He gave and never asked for anything in return. He loved fishing, building bonfires, and most of all cracking jokes. Nick was a true survivor and fighter. He was full of life and laughter. He will forever be loved and missed, especially by his mother and children.

To honor Nick, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30 at 2:00 PM at the Refuge in Tallapoosa, Ga - 448 Head Ave. Tallapoosa, Ga.
