Nick Maples Obituary
Nick was raised in a farm full of life and love of for the animals that he took care of. He played football at Nixa and always looked up to coach Wickwar. The bond that coach Wickwar and Nick had was an amazing and one-of-a-kind bond. He enjoyed spending his times outdoors hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
Nick was a good strong Christian man. More than anything he loved his family, farm, friends, animals, and guns. Nick would drop anything to stop and pet an animal and have his family or friends behind him to tell him to KEEP moving. His family did not just involve his parents, brothers, or cousins, but his football and military brothers as well.
Nick is a goofball but was loved instantly by anyone that met him. We hope that everyone that knew him would remember all the good memories they have had and the character that everyone knew Nick had.
Although his life was cut short, he will live in our hearts and remember the joy that he brought to all those around us. Nick will never be forgotten, and he will forever be watching over us all.
Nick is survived by his father and mother Scott and Leah Maples; his brother Kyle Maples and wife Lauren Maples; brother Alex Allen; along with his military and football brothers.

I only met Nick in the last month, he had struck up a friendship with my daughter. He and I chatted for a while on a couple of occasions, as I´m a former Marine, we had lots to talk about. I found Nick to be a genuine, kind and authentic fella. I am deeply sorry to the Maples family, and have nothing but gratitude for the brief time I spent with Nick. May you all find peace.

I only know of your family through a friend, and have never met you, but my heart hurts for you, and I pray that in the midst of such a tragedy, that you would be able to move forward in His strength. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I´ve never met Nick personally but my Marine spoke very highly of him, considered Nick a good buddy of his. I know he is missed by all his brothers and sisters. For Alex to be mentioned as Nick´s brother in the obituary kind of says it all, those two had a very special bond. Scott and Leah and the whole Maples clan welcomed our son with open arms our heart pours out to you all the Allen´s will always be thankful for Nick! May he RIP
