Nickolas "Nick" Paul Laurio

Akron- Nickolas “Nick” Paul Laurio passed away June 27, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

Nick was born in Akron on July 28, 1963, to Duke and Sandy Laurio. He attended Hudson High School. He started roofing with his dad and brother at a young age and turned it into a lifelong career. He was known for his amazing work ethic and drive to work hard. He proudly owned Laurio’s Roofing with his son.

Nick enjoyed playing baseball, and bowling. He was a gambling pool shark and a horseshoe player as well. He loved being and working outdoors all the time and always had to be busy. He loved his family and friends. He was quick to make a joke and could always be found laughing with others.

Nick will be dearly missed by his children, Jessica Hayden, Nicholas and wife Brittany Laurio, Joseph Laurio, Megan Cottrill (and children); 9 grandchildren; brother, Mike; sisters, Holly and Heather; 3 nieces, his parents and his loving companion, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Laurio, and mother of his children, Pamela Evans.

Visitation to honor Nick will be held July 1, 2024 at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A service will follow immediately at 7:00 pm.
