Nicole Kathleen Walsh-Franklin
Age 39, passed away on February 7th, 2024 in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Born November 21, 1984 in Fort Walton Beach, FL, Nicole was the daughter of Elizabeth Walsh and George “Rick” Franklin. She graduated from Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood, IL and eventually moved back to her home state of Florida. Nicole enjoyed sports, particularly baseball & softball which she played for much of her childhood. She was a big New York Yankees & Boston Red Sox fan, so much so, she named her dog Fenway. She loved music of all genres and had a tendency to play her favorite tracks endlessly, whether those around her wanted to hear ‘Goodbye Earl’ by the Dixie Chicks 10 times in a row or not, it was happening. She had a great sense of humor and always found a way to make people laugh. Those who knew Nicole, know that when she set her mind to it she could do anything. She will be remembered for her strength and passion to live life her way.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Elizabeth (Dale) Walsh, and her father, George “Rick” Franklin; two sons, Aidan Drapeau & Abel Patrizi; brother, George "Ricky" Franklin II, and sister, Kaitlin Dell’Aquila.
