Nile Burgess Frazier, affectionately known as Burgess, was born on September 21, 1937, in Louisa, Kentucky. He passed away on October 24, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of hard work and devotion to family. Burgess dedicated many years of his life to his career as a tire salesman, a profession where he could apply his diligent work ethic.
His personality shone through in every aspect of his life. He was a hard worker who cherished his role as a family man. Burgess had a passion for animals, often expressing his love for them and the joy they brought him. Additionally, he enjoyed bluegrass music, good food, and cherished moments spent with his family back in Kentucky. He was also a fan of NASCAR, which added to his list of interests.
Burgess is survived by his grandson, Austin Thomas, granddaughter, Ashley Thomas; grandkids, Baleigh and Maddie; and his siblings: sister Wilma (Dan), sister Rebecca (Keith), brother Elmer (Audrey), brother Donald Richard (Anna Marie), brother Kenneth (Stella), and brother Aldi.
He is preceded in death by his parent, Richard and Gussie Farris; wife, Dorthene, and his daughters, Flemia Frazier and Denetta; granddaughter, Kayde.
A visitation to celebrate Burgess's life will be held on November 8, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located in Grove City, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with the expenses.
