One could recall many occasions of Nina, her son and countless neighbors out riding their horses around Pittsburg and across the countryside. She also loved to tend to her flowers in her garden. Nina will be remembered as an excellent mother who enjoyed spending time with her son and family.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Brenda) Buttrum of Pittsburg; sister, Nancy (Allen) Marks of Marion; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Buttrum of Marion, and Danny (Sherry) Buttrum of Murphysboro; grand godchildren, Jeremy (Megan) Davis, Jason (Jada) Davis, and Jennifer Clark; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; and her beloved Macaw, Murphy.
