Kenneth B. Roberts

Kenneth B. Roberts, age 91, of Creal Springs, IL, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 in St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born on December 21, 1933, in Marion, IL, to James Clyde and Seva (McBride) Roberts.
He was united in marriage to Delores June Craig on June 3, 1954 in Freedom Church, south of Marion, and together they shared seventy years of marriage until she preceded him in death on September 29, 2024.
Kenneth was a master carpenter and owned and operated Roberts Construction for many years.
Mr. Roberts was a 32nd degree Mason. He loved working with his hands building, fixing and making things out of wood. He enjoyed a good day hunting, and even better, a great day fishing.
He is survived by his children, Tracey (Ines) Roberts of La Marque, TX and Kathy Roberts of Marion, IL; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delores Roberts; three children, Kenna Roberts Garrison, Connie Roberts Carey and Darrell Roberts.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL.
The visitation will be held at Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
A private inurnment will be in Busby Cemetery in Goreville, IL at a later date.
