Nitale Rejean Wert

Nitale Wert, born on November 18, 1931, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at the age of 93. Throughout her long and fulfilling life, Nitale found joy in the simple pleasures of reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time surrounded by nature and the great outdoors. Her love for these activities left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Wert; her cherished mother, Ola Miller; her father, Willard Pence; and her dear sister, Marilyn Hall. Their memories lived on in her heart as she continued to nurture and care for her family.
Nitale is survived by her devoted children, Kristin Habowski (Mark) and Gary Wert (Kathy), who will forever treasure their mother's warmth and wisdom. Her legacy also continues through her adored grandson, Logan Wert. She is remembered fondly by her nieces, Julie Yoder (Matt) and Kim Cline (David), along with countless friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
Nitale's gentle spirit and unwavering love for her family and the natural world will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
