Noah Jaymes Hernandez was born on January 3, 1997, and entered into rest on February 17, 2025 at 12:08 pm. Noah was 28 years old and resided in San Antonio, Texas.
Our son attended John Marshall High School and Sandra Day O'Connor High School. After graduating from Sandra Day O'Connor High School in 2015, he joined the workforce working several years in landscape work, customer service for Ibex and eventually landed a full-time position at Frito Lay where he started in Sanitation and moved up to a Packaging Machine Operator.
Noah was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Sylvia Gonzalez (Nana). He is survived by his parents, Robert and Jennifer Hernandez, his siblings, Eryk, Elijah (Samantha), Caprial (Rojerio) and Raila (Abel), his significant other, Mae Gomez, his nieces Aryiah and Alessandra, paternal grandmother Angelita Hernandez (Wella), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and paternal grandfather Eulogio Hernandez.
Noah was recently honored with the new nickname of "Tio Nono" as he stepped into the role of being an uncle to his nieces. He loved his family and the life that he was building with his significant other, Mae Gomez. Noah enjoyed making friends and hanging out socially or helping them when they were in need. Noah was known for always sending that text or message asking when the "fam" is going to get together. He wanted to cook some ribs or chicken on the grill and always had a new recipe he wanted to try and share with his loved ones. He wholeheartedly had a smile whenever he greeted you and loved giving everyone a nickname. If you didn't know this about him, Noah was a fantastic artist even when he was a young boy. He would always draw small pictures in his notebooks and on his schoolwork. He took that energy and would work on cutting his friends' hair by doing fade haircuts.
Noah expressed his spiritual values through tattoos inspired by the Ten Commandments, Adam & Eve and the gates of Heaven. He carried his tattered Virgen de Guadalupe wallet with him for years.
Noah loved summer days, getting together to enjoy the beach and the feeling of being warm and comfortable. He loved concerts and live music. His favorites were Tejano, Corridos and Texas-style hip-hop. He was passionate about art and style and said how he wanted to style his own clothing line. He was creatively inspired by the world around him all the time and always had an idea or an invention that would possibly work. He had love like no other. His heart was pure and filled with it. The love he shared with the world is what we'll miss most about him and how much we'll have to go on without it.
Noah loved animals and loved being a fur dad. He had two family dogs at home, Nutella and Cheeto, and his dog Maxine, he shared with Mae. Maxine became a part of our family right away.
His unexpected passing has left an enormous hole in all our hearts. We will always remember that funny grin, the tall handsome man that he was and his long, strong arms when they hugged you. We will never forget the memories we made, and the great times we had, especially last summer when the entire family visited Las Vegas. Noah left us too soon with so many unfinished plans and memories he had yet to fulfill.
All children have their challenges when they are young and feel they are invincible and untouchable. Our giant began to realize the changes he needed to make and was working harder towards a brighter future. We got to see the good changes in him.
Please honor Noah by never forgetting him and keeping him in your hearts as we all move forward in life. If you see a dog shelter in need, please donate in Noah's name so that his kindness is always remembered.
