Noah Wade Perkins, age 68, of Webbville, Kentucky, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 4, 1957, in Louisa, Kentucky, Noah was the cherished son of the late Wayne Emerson and Louella Cooksey Perkins.
Noah was a dedicated and hardworking man, known for his role as the owner/operator of Perkins Sawmill and as a skilled heavy equipment operator with the Operators Local 181. His work ethic and commitment to his craft were admired by many, and he took great pride in providing for his family and community.
Beyond his professional life, Noah had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Nova. He found joy in working on race cars and boating, activities that brought him closer to nature and allowed him to share memorable moments with friends and family.
Noah's legacy lives on through his fiancée, Theresa Atkins; his son, Michael (Jolene) Perkins of Webbville; and his granddaughter, Jodi Perkins. He is also survived by three sisters, Thurlie Knapp of Waverly, Ohio, Barbara (David) Robinson of Greenup, and Bonnie Howard of Russell, as well as five stepchildren, Charles (Suzi) Roberts, Marc (Christina) Roberts, Kaleigh (Matt) Atkins-Casey, Kyle Ramey, and Seth Ramey; step-grandchildren, Kai Casey and Liam Casey. Noah leaves behind a host of friends and extended family who will forever cherish his memory and the impact he had on their lives.
In addition to his parents, Noah was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Carroll Knapp and Beanie Howard, who welcomed him with open arms in the afterlife.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, with Bro. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Wayne Perkins Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until the service hour on Saturday.
