Noel Patrick Cleveland

Noel Cleveland, 54, of Lubbock, Texas, went to heaven on February 7, 2023.
Noel was born December 26, 1968, in Biloxi, MS to Dan and Patricia Cleveland. He married Gloria Venzor, of Pecos, TX, on March 13, 1993, in Lubbock, Texas at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. Noel and Gloria met at Texas Tech while both were involved in Chi Rho, a Catholic service organization. Noel and Gloria would have had their 30-year wedding anniversary in a few weeks.
Loved ones include wife Gloria Cleveland; children Alexandria, Lauren, and Phillip; father Dan Cleveland; brother Erin Cleveland (Asha, Collin, Justin, and Savan); mother-in-law Consuelo Venzor; sister-in-law Maria Romero (Richard, Anthony and Matthew); brother-in-law Leonardo Venzor (Milana and Lee); nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Tucker and Trixie Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Cleveland.
Noel attended Texas Tech University where he obtained a Master's degree in Audiology. He was a lifelong Red Raider fan. He loved to run, completing 12 full marathons, and numerous half marathons. Noel loved going to concerts and listening to music, a passion he shared with his brother Erin and later with his son Phillip. He found joy in spending quality time with his family and was all about setting a special mood and ambiance to even the smallest moment or event in order to create a memory. Noel never missed a Texas Tech basketball or baseball game; however, it made for a special game if his two daughters were in town. He loved talking pop culture to all three of his children. Noel loved going up to Colorado to visit his dad, Dan. He would help work on his dad's beautiful landscaping and they would enjoy sitting on the back patio admiring the mountain background and the work they had done.
Noel was a great protector and provided the best life for his children and wife. He put his family before himself every time and devoted his entire life to having a happy and well-taken care of family. Noel stayed up late nights, and woke up early mornings, just to make sure his children got home or where they were going safely. He was also passionate about providing a beautiful home for his family. He designed every home, making it perfect to live in. Spending hours in the yard daily, taking the dogs on walks, and cooking amazing meals were things that made up his day after work.
Not only did he make a beautiful impact on his family, but he also left an impact on countless people through his work as an audiologist. He was compassionate and wanted to provide the best experience for his patients.
Noel will continue to place his fatherly hands on the world especially his family, protecting from danger and sorrow, he will lift us up and give the strength to persevere.
Rosary Services will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Reverend Father Wesley Beal officiating.
