Noel Roque Obituary
If we could distill the words in the dictionary into a 1.5oz shot of whiskey to describe Noel Roque, its notes would sing: a dedicated husband, a loving father & a true renaissance man. All throughout his life, Noel was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Noel completed his college education in De La Salle University-Taft in Manila. He earned a double-degree: Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Business Management.
His early career consisted of working in administrative roles in various industries. He later pursued a law degree and entered the legal profession, working in Metro Manila's lower and upper trial courts. Prior to moving to Seattle, he worked as an attorney for the Sandiganbayan, a special appellate collegial court that has jurisdiction over graft and corruption cases that involve government officials.
The simplest pleasures and still moments brought great joy to Noel. He loved a tranquil evening with a vinyl record playing in the background while sipping on whiskey with a side of shrimp gambas and sautéd garlic mushrooms with his family and friends. Noel had many hobbies which he passed onto his three children - it is not a leap to say Noel's spirit lives on in them.
Noel is survived by his high school sweet-heart and wife, Korynn "Beewa"; children, Rafael, Mikhail and Alessandra; father, Manolo; mother, Aida; sister, Rachel; brothers, Awet and Erwin; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand dogs.
