Noella T. Simard, 86, formerly of CT and later Lyndonville, VT, passed away at the Maple Lane Nursing home in Barton, VT, on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
Noella was born in Hartford, CT, on December 12, 1938, daughter to the late Omer Joseph, Sr. and Florence M. (Bourque) Simard. She spent her career as a Nursing Aide at Hartford Hospital. She will be remembered for always enjoying the finer things in life.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Sally A. Simard of East Burke, VT; nieces and nephews Donna, Michael, Robert, and Michelle; as well as many great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Donald G. Simard and O. Joseph Simard, Jr.
There will be no calling hours and a Mass will be said in her name at St. Elizabeth's Church, Lyndonville, VT at a future date. A private interment will take place at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, CT.
