Dr. Noelle Marie Olson, age 29, of Woodbury MN, Died Wednesday March 6, 2024, in her home.
Noelle was born December 2, 1994, the daughter of Richard and Shirley (Studenski) Olson in Tampa Florida. She grew up in Big Lake MN. Graduated from Big Lake High School. Earned her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College, Northfield MN. Earned her doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
She is survived by parents: Richard and Shirley Olson; sister Erica Olson of Milwaukee, WI; brother Alexander Olson of St. Paul, MN, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Noelle was a driven individual who achieved excellence in everything she did. She was an all-American competitive runner, brilliant scientist, and respected colleague. She accomplished so much in her short life despite her struggle with an eating disorder. She was sweet, kind and very loving. She cherished her family and quality time together. Family traditions like making lefse, going to the State Fair, and escaping the winter to the beaches of Florida were important to her. She also loved putting together puzzles, reading, and baking. Gifting her baked goods was one of the many ways she showed love to her family and friends.
