Nora Lee Hays, 85, of Maumelle, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 22, at the Hospice Home Center in Little Rock.
Nora was born on September 21, 1938, in Berryville to the late Donald L. Lewis and Juanita Moore Kuykendall. She married her husband James Selwin Hays on March 20, 1959. She was a lifelong Baptist with memberships at South Highland Baptist Church in Little Rock and First Baptist Church in Maumelle.
Her parents, stepfather Rex Kuykendall, and her husband preceded her in death.
She is survived by her brother, Glen Kuykendall; her three children, Jim Hays (Beth) of Conway, Juanita Birch (Victor) of Mabelvale, and Bob Hays (Martha) of Bella Vista; her five grandchildren Laura Deem (Zac), Sarah Hays, Drew Hays (Ashley), Meagan Lail (Ethan), and Bethany Hays; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Maumelle with visitation one hour prior. A graveside service will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery beginning at 1:00 PM.
The family would like to send their many thanks to Stonehaven Assisted Living, Gentiva Hospice, and Hospice Home Care for their care and support.
