Nora Rigdon Obituary
Nora was born January 26, 1959, in Maysville to the late Henry Edward Rigdon, Sr. and the late Margaret Frances Dugan Rigdon. Nora worked for Jockey International for many years until it's closing. She also worked at Maysville IGA until her retirement a couple of years ago. She was dedicated to her work and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and in her spare time she enjoyed playing the Candy Crush Game.
Survivors include her children, Frances Nicole "Franny" Rigdon of Lexington, Kentucky and Nicholas Thomas Bellew of Maysville, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren, Alycia Flores and Miranda Flores both of Lexington, Kentucky and Carson Thomas Bellew of Maysville; a great-grandson, Felix O'Leary; sisters, Peggy Rigdon Podraza (Ron) Kosch of Lexington, South Carolina and Edwina Kay (Steve) Howard of Maysville; her best friend, Crystal Simms of Maysville; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Henry Edward Rigdon, Sr.; sister, Jaqueline Snipes; and a sister, Frankie Sapp.
Services for Nora Jean Rigdon will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 19, 2024, at Brell & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Marilyn Roades officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until the time of the service.
