Norben Leisure Obituary
HARTFORD – Norben Larry Leisure, Sr., 81, passed away August 14th, 2025 at his home. He was born November. 4th, 1943 to the late Chuck and Pauline Jolly Leisure.
Larry was a graduate of Owensboro Senior High. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy Reserve and married his high school sweetheart, Roseann Hardin. They later settled in Hartford and celebrated 60 years of marriage this past December.
Larry retired from Green River Steel after dedicating over 25 years. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Gwen Sweeney; a daughter, Tracie Peluso; and a great-grandson, Ezra Jones.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Roseann Hardin Leisure; son, Chuck Leisure; daughter, Ashley (Ralph) Jones; grandchildren, Lainey (Lukas) Whitely, Sydney Leisure, Morgan (Rhett) Baggarly, Max Leisure; and great-grandchildren, Addi Jones, Izzy Thompson, Hudson Baggarly, Hadlee Baggarly and Finley Whitely.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
