Norbert Edward Dalton Bickmeyer, age 83, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Hermann, Missouri on March 22, 1939 to Edward and Ella Bickmeyer (nee Eikermann).
Norbert was a union carpenter for 50 years. He was married to Betty Bickmeyer for 62 years.
Norbert was an avid fisherman, hunter, and master craftsman. He dearly loved his family, he was always looking for any opportunity to help them. Norbert loved to create; he had recently begun to create crosses out of anything he could find. He found great joy in giving out these crosses to his family; creating a unique cross for each person.
Norbert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Kassell, Germany as a Military Policeman
Norbert is survived by his Wife, Son, Edward (Sheri) Bickmeyer; Daughter, Cherri (Philip) Reidenbach; Four Granddaughters, Cassie (Sean) Puleo, Elizabeth Reidenbach, Savannah (Ryan) Sharkey, Sydney Bickmeyer; Four Grandsons, Zachary (Christina) Hefner, Clayton Bickmeyer, Jackson Bickmeyer, Tyler Bickmeyer; Four Great-Granddaughters, Sophia Sharkey, Ellie Wright-Bickmeyer, Hosanna Sharkey, Juniper Sharkey; Great-Grandson, Cooper Puleo; Two Sisters, Laverta Schulte, Deana (Denis) VanBooven; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Edward Christopher Bickmeyer; Mother, Ella Bickmeyer; Five Sisters, Leona Ruediger, Janette Erfling, Arlene Rupp, Verneda Schaumberg, Norella Keller; Two Brothers, Bernell Bickmeyer, Edmund Bickmeyer;
