Norbert L. Rzepka, 87, of Niles, Michigan passed away at 6:49 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024, at West Woods of Niles. Norbert was born on March 2, 1937, in New Carlisle, Indiana to Walter "Lott" and Josephine (Jurgonski) Rzepka. On October 4, 1958, Norbert married Elaine "Dolly" Hoffman, who preceded him in death on December 11, 2020. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Paul) Harrigan of Gardnerville, Nevada; two sons, Timothy Rzepka of Las Vegas, Nevada and James (Kellie) Rzepka of Niles, Michigan; and two granddaughters, Abigail and Madison Rzepka. Also preceding him in death were four sisters and four brothers. Norbert was a tireless worker. He retired from Hover Trucking and was a long-standing member of the Teamsters. He was a Notre Dame fan and a former usher for the University of Notre Dame athletic events. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Church in Niles on Monday, November 25th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a private burial in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions should be directed to American Cancer Society. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Didn't see you much in the end with everything going on, and the kids mother passing the day before you went to be reunited with Dolly, neighbor. I'm sorry about that. We just found out today that you'd passed, and I'm even more sorry about that. Rest Easy, old friend. We miss you.
