John C. Clark, 63, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at The Summerfield Healthcare Facility in Cloverdale, Indiana. He was born on December 24, 1961 in Ft. Rucker, Alabama to LaRue and Janice (Ray) Clark. John was preceded in death by his father LaRue and one brother, Scott Clark MacDonald. He is survived by one daughter, Heather Clark of New Carlisle, Indiana, one son, Christopher Clark of South Bend, Indiana, his mother, Janice Carr of New Carlisle, Indiana, and three grandchildren, Joseph, Dexter and Dakota Torstenson.

John loved horseback riding and was always happiest enjoying the outdoors or watching his westerns. As a Union painter and a carpenter on the side, his hard work can be seen all over South Bend. He taught his children the value of hard work and dedication, a legacy passed down to his grandsons. He was a calm and kindhearted soul loved by many.

A visitation for John will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2024 from 11:00 am Est until 12:00 pm Est at the New Carlisle Community Church, 201 W. Michigan St., New Carlisle, IN. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Est in the church. Burial will follow in the New Carlisle Cemetery.
