Norbert "Butch" Waack Jr.

Norbert "Butch" Waack Jr., 69, of Kiel passed away October 22, 2024 at Willowdale Health Services. Butch was born on December 24, 1954 to Norbert Sr. and Esther Waack. He graduated in 1973 from Kiel High School. On November 11, 1978 he married Bonnie L. Karstaedt at Bethlehem UCC.
Butch was employed at Kohler Co. from the day after graduation until his retirement in 2016. He was a member of St. Peter UCC. Butch enjoyed hunting, bowling and watching the Packers. He loved watching TV with his dog Ruby on his lap. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Butch is survived by his children; Nick (Heather) Waack, Ashley Waack and Emily (Shaun) Raganyi, his grandchildren; Ashlynn Waack and Mason Raganyi, his brother; Melvin (Elaine) Waack, sisters; Darlene Horneck, Diane (Corky) Fidlin, brother-in-law; Fritz Krause, sisters-in-law; Judy (David) Walber and Clare Karstaedt. Butch is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his sister; Dolores Krause, his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Wilbert and Pat Karstaedt, his brothers-in-law; Dale Horneck and Randy Karstaedt, nephews; Ryan Waack, Davis Horneck and David Horneck.
In accordance with Butch's wishes, private family services will be held.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to nephew Jason Fidlin for his loving help and support. Also special thanks to the nurses and staff at Willowdale Health Services, Sharon Richardson Hospice and Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for their exceptional care and kindness.
