Noreen Perkins Obituary
Noreen A. Perkins, age 85 of Faribault, MN passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 at The Emeralds at Faribault.
Noreen Agnes, the daughter of Vincent and Agnes (Dedina) O’Malley, was born on March 16, 1940 on the family farm in Morristown, MN. She grew up in Morristown and attended school there before taking leave to care for an ailing neighbor. The time caring for her neighbor inspired Noreen to become a nurse and she worked at St. Lucas Care Center and the Faribault Manor for many years. During that time, she met Robert Perkins at a diner and married a year later on May 27, 1972. Noreen loved caring for people.
Noreen is survived by her husband Bob, who she has been with for 56 years; daughter, Mandy Perkins; dog, Teddy; niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Arlos O’Malley; and sisters, Bernice Jeno and Delores Schuette.
Interment will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory.
