Norma Jean Franklin

Norma Jean (Belke) Franklin 82, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 of natural causes. Norma was born on March 6, 1943 in St. Paul Minnesota. Norma grew up on a dairy farm in Delano, Minnesota and learned to drive a tractor at 9 yrs old. She met her husband Bob Franklin on a blind date. She worked for the Orono Schools from 1982-2005. She enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franklin. Survived by children, James Franklin, Mary Benjamin (Mark); grandchildren, Tucker (Brooke), Natalie & Charlotte. Visitation at 10:30 a.m. and memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on January 31, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake. Donations in lieu of flowers to Orono Schools.
