Norma Jacob Obituary
The funeral service for Mrs. Norma Jean Jacob, of Marksville, will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Marksville with Fr. Joseph Desimone officiating.
Norma Jacob, age 85, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 peacefully at her home.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronnie (Glenda) Jacob of Jacksonville, FL and Rodney McGlory of Marksville; daughters, Lillie Leviege of Marksville, Janet Jacob of Marksville, Julie Jacob of Marksville, and Amanda Jacob of Marksville; brother, Shelton (Mary) McGlory of Marksville. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews; two special friends, Barbara Frank of Marksville and Precious Jacob of Baton Rouge.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Cilton Jacob; sons, Mitchel Jacob, Karl Jacob, Cilton Jacob, Jr., and Barry Jacob; grand-son, Kevin Johnson; grand-daughter, Danielle Alexander; parents, Joseph & Lillie McGlory; siblings: Beatrice Ford, Collins McGlory, Chester McGlory, Gordon McGlory, Archie McGlory, Albert McGlory, Bernell McGlory, and Joe McGlory.
The visitation will begin at 9:00am until 10:30am at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville. A rosary prayer service will begin at 10:15am at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville.
Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
