Norma Niblett Knight, 92, of Pocomoke City, Maryland, passed away on October 23, 2025 in Crisfield, MD.
She was born on April 7, 1933 in Pocomoke City, MD, to the late Norman N. Niblett and Bessie Phillips Niblett. She was the youngest of 4 children. Norma was preceded in death by her two brothers, Burley and Lynwood Niblett; and her sister, Mildred Nock.
Norma was a graduate of Pocomoke High School and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Pocomoke. Norma began her banking career with the Bank of Hallwood in Virginia. Moving to Pocomoke, she was employed by Citizen's National Bank and then retired from PNC. She also managed the Worcester Co. Federal Credit Union in Pocomoke for several years.
She was a great cook, no recipes or measurements were needed. Norma enjoyed playing Parcheesi with her niece Shirley, and husband Bennett. She was outgoing, friendly and had a big heart, always reaching out to help someone in need.
Norma is survived by her two sons, Dorsey F. "Bobby" Knight (Diana) and Norman J. Knight (Debbie). Her boys were her pride and joy. They were devoted to their mother and were attentive to her every need.
Norma is also survived by her grandson, Travis and Jenna; two-great-grandchildren, Oaklee and Archie; and close friends, Pat Johnson, Gloria Pennewell and Betty Tarr.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the First Baptist Cemetery in Pocomoke with Pastor Donnie Bailey officiating.
