Norma Joyce Mauriello

On November 12 th, 2025, Norma Joyce Mauriello passed away surrounded by family. Norma was born on September 8 th, 1939. She grew up in Detroit with her 5 siblings. Later, she graduated from Michigan State University and worked as a Psychologist helping others. She spent her retirement living between South Carolina, enjoying days on the lake with family, and Naples, Florida, enjoying time at the beach with family, and with her beloved, late husband, Jospeh Mauriello. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and friend. In her younger days, she was an A-level tennis player. She loved to play bridge with her friends. She was a big supporter of the arts and loved to frequent the Naples Philharmonic. Norma was also an artist, and her paintings are something to behold. Her favorite hobby was spoiling her grandchildren and taking trips with her family. Norma was affectionately known as Nana to her grandchildren. She always made sure everyone had a bag of gifts at Christmas and everyone's favorite snacks were available. She was happy when her house was full of family. She spent her last years living with her son Greg and her cat, Miss Kitty which made her happy and filled her with joy. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph. She leaves behind her children, Gregory Ricketts and Andrea (David) Gordon and siblings Joe, Paul, and Carol along with her stepsons, Mark (Lani) Mauriello and Keith (Kelley) Mauriello as well as her grandchildren Victoria, Daniel (Andi), Bradley, Lily, Abby, Nick, and Izzy. Visitation will be at the Canton Funeral Home from 11a-1p November 18 th, 2025 with a service to follow.
