Norma Elaine McIntire, 89, Buffington Township, went to be with the Lord December 4, 2025, at The Addison of Moorehead Place after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Born February 24, 1936, in Buffington Township. the daughter of late Andrew and Helen (Moose) Mack. Also preceded in death by husband George McIntire, brother Kenneth Mack, Sr. and infant sister Hazel Mack.
Survived by daughter Georgia Rietsha, Indiana; Sonja Sowerbrower and husband Mark, Brush Valley; grandchildren Lonnie Rietsha and wife Melanie, Carly Kuzar and husband Beau, Joshua Rietsha and wife Kathy, Ryan Sowerbrower, and Jeremy Sowerbrower and wife Trudy; great grandchildren Hannah, Hayleigh, Kensey, and Kori, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Norma was a very active member of Blacklick Creek Christian Church, also a member of Red Hats, and Armagh Senior Citizens. She loved to travel, enjoyed watching wildlife and living in the country. She was a retired secretary from the human resources department at IUP. Norma's greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends.
Friends received 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh and 10 AM until the time of service at 11AM Monday at Blacklick Creek Christian Church, 1453 Bracken Road, Vintondale. Pastor Thomas Phillips officiating. Interment Blacklick Church Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Norma's care givers Bonnie, Tish, Connie, Heather, and Pam, the staff of The Addison of Moorehead Place and the staff of 365 Hospice.
