Norma Sutor Meredith passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, in Hockessin, DE. She was 87.
Norma was born on September 19, 1937, to Dorothy and Harry Sutor of Wilmington, DE. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Sanford Guyer. She is survived by her daughter Natalie Coric, son-in-law Denny Coric, grandchildren Alyssa and Dylan Coric, siblings Richard Sutor and his wife Mary Sutor, Roger Sutor, and Elizabeth Sutor and her husband Dean Banks as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
Norma graduated from Henry C. Conrad High School in 1958 where she enjoyed both choir and band as their flag-twirler and majorette. She was also a member of the All-State choir and participated in numerous parades and concerts.
After graduation, Norma worked for several years at both the DuPont and Hercules Corporations as a keypunch operator. In 1978 Norma relocated to Southern California before eventually moving back to Delaware after several years to be closer to family. She continued to work and retired from The Family and Workplace Connection where she had worked as an administrative assistant.
Norma was a much-loved and integral part of her family, often organizing fun day-trips for everyone or excursions to a theater, concert or play. She was always happiest spending time with those she loved and she will be greatly missed. Services for Norma will take place privately.
