Norma Woosley Shelton, 90, passed away at her home on November 3, 2025. She was born on September 10, 1935, to Elfleda Fulcher Woosley and Walter Theodore Woosley in Forsyth County. She was a devoted homemaker who raised a large family over the course of many years. She will be dearly missed. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Shelton; son, Randall Shelton; grandson, Joshua Smith; granddaughter, Misty Marie Shelton; and three sisters, Dorothy Dickerson, Hilda Williard, and Iris "Peep" Poplin. Surviving are sons, Michael Wayne Shelton, Ronald Gray Shelton (Sharon), and David Craig Shelton; daughters, Debby Wyant and Lisa Janet Shelton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Woosley; sisters, Patsy Bodenhamer, Marilyn Potts, and Janet Royal; and a large extended family. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Fraternity Church of the Brethren Church cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
